Lying centre stage of our beautiful village is the Cricket, Tennis & Bowling Club, once the only completely walled-in ground in the United Kingdom, although the brick wall has now been replaced by a railing fence which allows uninterrupted views of the cricket pitch, tennis courts and bowling lawn.
